Just a little updating..

Hey lovelies! I just wanted to give you the run down on what's going to be happening here in the next few weeks!

1. I will be on Hiatus until January 4th! I will be in my Jersey home which means I won't have any of the things I need to do reviews. Also, there hasn't been any sun here in a good week. So I can't review anything anyway.

2. I will be posting my giveaway when I am back from my Hiatus! I have tons of stuff that I can not wait to give to one of you lucky lovelies! (Trust me I wish I was keeping these things all to myself)

3. It is my 1 year bloggiversary (December 5, 2010)! Seems like it went by so quickly and in reality it did! I feel like I am going to write a post on the last year of my life because in the last year, there have been so many changes.

4. I will be redoing a lot of my original reviews when I return from my Hiatus. This means I will be combining swatches from other posts and redoing swatches from the past. Then I will create a page where you can find all these swatches and things. I will try to swatch every single eye shadow I own. I even have a list!

5. I want to tell you loves my New Year's Resolutions. I usually do more than one so just in case one fails I have more to go to. So here they are:
        1. I want to lose 35 pounds before May. I know this might seem hard but I am really determined. I have already lost 25 pounds since August and I feel like a new person. I am down a whole jean size and almost a shirt size. Also I need to look good for my boyfriend's prom =P.
        2. I want me ankle to heal so I never have to worry about it again. I horribly sprained my ankle in April. Yea I know, April is really far back. It still hurts to this very day and now I am on crutches. It didn't help constantly walking on it or marching on it. But hopefully it will heal.
        3. To keep my relationship with my boyfriend. I was almost hesitant writing this one down since, lets face it, I love my boyfriend til the end of time. But things do go wrong and things can happen that are out of our control.
        4. To find the perfect dress. This might sound weird. But I want a dress that fits me right that is like me. Most clothes now run for shorter people, especially dresses. So I try on hundreds of dresses that look so awesome only to find that I am about....5 inches too tall for them. Some could be a shirt on me other dresses that are supposed to be Maxi dresses, hit my mid calf. Now, I'm not saying I am super model tall, I am 5 foot 9 in. But I feel left out in the clothing word. Especially with jeans...but that's a different story.
         5. To get good grades. Well that's just a given isn't it.

So, now that you know. I will disappear to study for my finals which will be held next week. Unless there is a sunny day so you might see a post. But I would like to wish you all a Happy Holidays and a very Happy New Year. May all your wishes come true (CORNY ALERT <3)

I don't even know how to start this post. I am just so overjoyed! 100 Followers! And it is around my 1 Year Blogiversay. I appreciate everyone's support so much. There were some points where I was thinking of giving up on blogging; but you are the people who kept me going. So, as promised I am going to have my 100 Follower/1 Year Blogiversay Giveaway! Some changes and things!

After some long hard thought. I decided to revisit and re-review some companies that I feel need to be re-reviewed. I have also decided to try a new style of reviewing. It will look more organized then what I had before. I will still keep the old reviews up (even though the pictures suck and things) since some of them are linked to places. I also again apologize for my extreme lack of posting due to my out-of commission laptop, it has been sent for repairs and is in transit to be fixed! Many of my photos of reviews that I haven't done yet are on there. Also, I have made the executive decision to not review Indie Bath items on my blog. I would like to stick to my original object of being a makeup only blog. But I will still continue to purchase Indie Bath whenever I can. Finally, If you haven't already, please follow my blog and share the news because I will be soon having a giveaway!

Now its getting crazy!

I feel really horrible about this rant...meh. So my grammar might go down the toilet because it happens when I get angry. I lost my memory card for my camera over a week ago and I ordered a new one through Amazon. Now, I didn't order it through another company then through Amazon, I ordered it straight through Amazon. Amazon Prime to boot. They told me I would receive my package on October 6. I thought that was great. Especially because my boyfriend was coming all the 6 hours to see me for the weekend and I thought what a fun idea it would be to take some pictures of us for once. But no. October 6 passed and no package. I was like "Okay maybe tomorrow." But no. Still nothing. The weekend passed and I didn't get any pictures of my boyfriend and I. Which made me rather upset cause the weather was amazing. But thats not the point. Whenever I would check the tracking on Amazon it said the package was stuck in Indiana. Now, it says "We're sorry. We are unable to retrieve tracking information for this shipment at this time." What is that supposed to mean! Its a memory card!!! Not a bomb!!! Why did you hold it for 6 days then say its not there!  Now, I'm pissed. because I would really love to do blog work. Its a fantastic day for it. I have so many things to blog about too! but no!!!!!! I have no camera usage for anything! I just want me package how hard it that! meh!!!!!!


*EDIT* My package got lost apparently and they refunded me. So I ordered another one. They also gave me a $5 gift card for my troubles. Which I thought was nice. I give Amazon Customer service an A+!

Reminder!

I just wanted to make a little reminder that when I reach 100 followers I will be hosting a giveaway! I am at 76 now!!!! Yay!!! Maybe I will reach 100 for my Blog's Birthday (which is in November/December, I think...I'll have to check on that). It will have an array of goodlies. I'm gonna see if I can hit up some of the vintage stores here too for some jewelry for it =] So it'll be not only makeup. Maybe I will make it themed? IDK....decisions, decisions. Geek Chic Swatchlove!!!

Oh goodness gracious! I feel like I haven't blogged in such a while. Do I remember how to do this? Let's see! I ordered during the amazing sale Geek Chic was having when they returned from their break. Of course, being the forgetful person I am, I forgot to order any lippies! But I did mange to get many many shadows =P. Its been awhile since I ordered from Geek Chic and I don't remember why. Their formula is amazing and I love their colors. And the names make me laugh, well, cause I know what most of them mean. XD. I started watching Doctor Who last week (when I should've been studying) which I love. Even though right now I'm watching Project Runway....ANYWAY!

Lets see some love!!

WHEEEE!

Stay Indoors - is an amazing dark blue/black with lots of blue sparklies. I adore this color. I ordered a sample of this in my first order and I knew I needed a full size when I ran outta the sample 3 weeks ago. This is my autumn/winter staple.

Grey Matter - is a semi-matte grey with light silver sparklies. Its simple but I love it. Grey is another everyday staple of mine.

Ugghh...Brains - is a bright green. I don't own too many of this color anymore. So, its a change. Even though I never really liked this shade very much, I like the yellow shimmer that is there. 

Vector - is a dark semi-matte lilac with silver and blue sparklies. 

Riddle Me This - is a semi-sheer green with purple sparklies and a blue shimmer. I adore this color. And the Riddler =P.

Princess in Distress - is a peachy pink with silver sparklies in it.

Katamari King - is a semi-matte lilac with silver sparklies.

Are There Any Girls There? - is a semi sheer bright pink with some sparklies in it. 

Companion Cube - is a bright bubble gum pink! I miss my companion cube....

Galactically Banned Ale - is a pretty pretty blue with some lovely shimmer.

Bubble Hearth - is a light pepto pink color with some sparklies.

Fear Bomb - is a matte purple with blue accents with some subtle sparklies in it. 

Twilight Princess - is one of my favorites of this sample set. It is a dark grey/black with a silver shift.

Shammy - is a bright blue with some rainbow sparklies. It has a really pretty quality to it. 

Inevitable Betrayal - is a really interesting color. Its a brown/green with blue sparklies. Its so hard to describe! But I feel like I need more.

Born in Fire - is amazing. Done. Its a reddish violet with red sparklies in it. Its gorgeous. 

The Spider - is a matte dusty lilac. Simple and pure. But pretty. 

The Pointy End - is a bronzy bown color. I thought I would like this more. But I don't and that makes me sad. 

Across the Narrow Sea - is another gorgeous blue with lots of sparklies!!

Drood - is a pastelly orange semi matte. Simple and pretty. 

I love Geek Chic...BURT GOT KICK OFF ON PROJECT RUNWAY!!!! WHATTTTT! I liked him.....Well, I love Geek Chic Cosmetics. I need to order some lippies!!! Well I hope you enjoyed these samples! =] I have more reviews and things to do. But they will have to wait til next week. <3

Miniature Hiatus

As you may have noticed, I have not been blogging so much. I am going on a tiny hiatus til my midterms are over and done with. I didn't expect there to be so much studying involved in all this. Also, marching band has taken most of my time I usually spend blogging. I should return next week with many posts!

Black Rose Minerals Swatches!

I love sales. I'm a bargain buyer. Especially since I'm a college student living in my own money supply now (still unemployed of course...). I've been thinking getting a job would be probably the best idea. But that doesn't matter right now. What matters is the absolute gorgeous things I received from Black Rose Minerals. I ordered these during the 30% off sale. I ordered 20 samples and a mystery set for my upcoming giveaway =]. I love this company. She has such a wide range of shades and a wide range of coverage (sheer-opaque) and she also has all types of shadows (mattes-super glitters). She also has some of my favorite pinks. Now, remember I don't really like pinks. But I adore her pinks. But in this sample order, I ordered mostly blues =P.

Lets see some swatches of magic and love!

Lady - is a pretty light blue color with a gold shine to it. I really love blues like this. 

Lost - is a semi-matte bright blue. 

Marlon - is a dark blueberry color and is also a semi-matte.

Peritwinkle - is a light blue/purple color with a gorgeous pink shift. I really need a full jar of this.

Fawndled - is a really pretty dark tan color. This is really soft. Perfect for autumn.

Lagrimas - is a super light blue/green color. This has some nice shine and sparklies to it. It has light blue sparklies in it. 

Minty - is a super super light green with a silver sheen to it. 

Baccus - look at this. Look at it. It is gorgeous. This pink/purple masterpiece matte. I cannot wait to wear this. 

Daft - this is the ultimate grape lollipop color. So bright! It has a blue sheen to it too!

Sienna - is a mysterious color. One second its a teal. The next its a gold green. Then a gold, then a gold blue. Its an amazing color. I can haz full jar?

Ultraviolence - is a really pretty lilac color. 

Mome Rath - and another pretty pink! Here is a bright fushia semi-matte. I love this color. Its not too in your face pepto pink and it won't make it look like your eyes are diseased. 

Hello, Kitten - is a gorgeous coral color with some gold sparklies. 

Calypso - is a silver/light blue shimmer. It is rather sheer.

Dark Wing - is a dark purple with blue shimmer. It has some blue sparklies as well.

Prozzac - is a really gorgeous light blue with a purple sheen to it. 

Alice - is a bright blueberry color with some blue sparklies in it. 

Silver and Cold - is a dark silver with silver sparklies in it (I love the AFI song btw.). 

A-peal - is a bright yellow like a banana. It also has some yellow sparklies. 

Desserted - is a very subdued pepto pink. It is rather pretty. This is a semi-matte

Liberty - is a dark green with silver sparklies. Perfect for autumn. 

So, they they are, the lovely Black Rose Minerals. I really suggest you give this lovely gem of a shop a look and a buy. She just released her Luciferi Collection for Halloween and it has some absolutely gorgeous colors.

A New Chapter...

       So, I was thinking when I hit 10000 views (I am at 8819 at the moment) and 100 followers, I will host a giveaway! I have some Black Rose Minerals already set up and I'm gonna try looking for sponsors. This will not have nail polish so this will be an INTERNATIONAL giveaway for all my lovelies in the UK and Canada and everywhere else =]. What do you guys think?

         Also, after 2 months, I finally get to see my boyfriend! I know, I don't talk about him too much on here but I try to keep this Indie related as much as I can. So here is a recap on my life as of now. I am now a freshman at the University of Pittsburgh. Which is 6 hours away from where I used to live in NJ. My boyfriend is still in NJ and I haven't seen him since I left. He got me a really adorable ring and sent me an amazing care package. We plan on getting married eventually.
         I'm adjusting to college life, spending my money on makeup, going on no-buys. I live in a single dorm and my room has Beatles posters, a Domo poster and a Winnie the Pooh poster. I have some stuffed animals (all that my boyfriend gave me (his name is Kevin)). Kevin and I have been dating for almost 7 months now and I am the happiest person in the world with him. I love him more than makeup. He knows I blog and of my makeup obsession. He thinks its cute. I'm wondering if he will read this post. lol But hes the most amazing person on the planet and if you are friends with me on facebook, you can see he is all I talk about (sorry if that is annoying).
         I am in the marching band at Pitt I will be on ABC channel this saturday. It is truly exciting!! National television. Look for me okay? lol Try to? But I did hurt my ankle and I am slowly working back to get it's strength so I can march properly. I'm trying my hardest. Its tough man. But I've lost about 15 pounds doing it. I feel great.
        I would also just like to thank everyone who helped me get to this point in my life. Blogging life, life life. Whatever life. All the people in the facebook groups who always support me, my twitter buddies, Kevin and my friends here and at home. I miss you all and hope to meet you all one day. You always inspire me to strive harder, to be better, and to create some wacky makeup combo. And for that, I thank you. This rant must end eventually so here it goes!

Playing with eyeliner

For the 9 months I hated using eyeliner. I always felt like it made my eyes look funny unless I made the thickest possible line on the top on bottom of my eye. Also, when I wore eyeliner, I wouldn't wear any eye shadow. But as I was tallying up my makeup to bring to college, I realized how many eye liners I actually had. So, I took out my Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Biker and thought I would try to make a simple wing. Just to practice. I really like how it turned out.
I also don't have any primer on at all, and the liner stayed put all day without creasing. It was great.

I'm also sorry I haven't been posting much. I'm kinda in the middle of moving everything over to college stuff. And I'm getting a new laptop so I gotta move everything over to that! Also, I'm trying to spend as much time as I can with my boyfriend before I move 6 hours away to college. I love him more than anything in the world.

Green and Purple LOTD + NOTW

So, in the midst of this lingering depression I've been having lately with my boyfriend being gone for the next month. I've been trying to cheer myself up by watching Scrubs, buying nail polish, and trying out makeup stuff. Here is the LOTD first. Its a simple green and purple look.

Limelight is one of my absolute favorite limey green shadows. Its to die for!

Now for the NOTW. My grandma thought it would be nice to get me two different Chanel nail polishes (yes Chanel!). She bought me Paradoxal and Black Pearl as part of my Graduation gift. So I dashed and put on some Paradoxal. But I've been craving to use my Pure Ice White Crackle polish too. So I put some of that on top. Here's what came out of it!

Yay! I hope you enjoyed my post for todaii. I wish my summer was going better. Its been tough. I never realized how much I really loved my boyfriend until he left. I really loved him before...but this is plain torture. We hung out every single day before he left. Now that he's gone...I just feel so lonely. He can't text me or really talk to me in any way either. Where he is, he gets no service. Todaii, we talked on Facebook chat for five minutes. Then I cried for a good half our. Todaii is our four month anniversary, I know it might not seem long, but he is the longest relationship I've ever had. I really do love him and I do feel like I can spend the rest of my life with him. He is 2 years younger than me, so when I go out to college, he won't be there. But theres Skype and things. And he promised to visit me whenever he can. Which helps a lot. I love him. That's all that matters right now. And returning the bowl he left at my house to his mom. I should do that soon...his mom is so nice. Well now that I've taken up alotta space, I'm gonna blast some Lady Gaga and Jimi Hendrix and maybe post some more later.

Last few weeks!

I feel terrible for the lack of posting..ugh. But I'm doing well. I basically fractured my ankle and have been performing on stage all week. Also, its finals week for me.
